STORYVILLE ROSEDALE, MD
prototypical children's center for Baltimore County Public Library
An interactive early literacy and learning center for children ages birth to five and their caregivers called "Storyville." The center's mission is to engage, educate, and excite pre-school children and their families in a unique interactive setting. Storyville is a fictive townscape within the children's library, containing a variety of activities to promote emergent literacy skills, creative play, and performance. Our design references the nearby Chesapeake Bay, whose tributaries run through Rosedale.
