This exhibit would provide families and school groups direct hands-on experiences with specimens, artifacts, and resource materials, linked to nature and cultures of the world. Design includes "walk-in" dioramas providing locomotor and intellectual exploration of such environments as the rainforest, the shore, the mountains, and the prairie. The "feel" museum is a special area geared to toddlers, with age-appropriate interactive activities. The Learning Lab provides hands-on science experiments, fostering group problem-solving
