Jim Bradberry is an award winning architect and author, in professional practice for four and a half decades. A former Associate Partner with Venturi Scott Brown and Associates, Jim founded JBA in 1991, building on his background in non-profit institutional design. Jim is involved in day-to-day project management of each of our projects, including all aspects of design, technical issues, and construction supervision.
Jim holds BS and BARCH degrees from Auburn University, an MARCH from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MPHIL in History and Philosophy from Cambridge University, where he was a Fulbright Fellow. He was the Lusk Fellow to the United Kingdom for 1988-89. He has taught architecture at Penn, Yale, Temple, Drexel, Ball State, and The Technical University of Nova Scotia. He is the author of four novels (St Martin’s Press/Trident Media Group), and The Power of Play: Designing Early Learning Spaces (American Library Association Editions).
